Hello

Current installation:

JM: 3.8.1
VM: 3.2.4

For several versions, I cannot say from which, I have not been able to open the Tools & Migration menu.

See screenshot for the vertical menu that does display.

Hopefully, a simple solution.

TIA

Hi Eddy,

Javascript error in admin
Try hathor admin template.. seems less prone to JS errors
Have also seen problems with max-inputs too low in the php settings
sometimes as simple as browser cache clear

Hello John

Thanks for the advice.

Will look into template and max input setting

Best

EsSa55

Its not the template (thankfully!) nor max_inputs.

Have cleared all caches many times previously.

Console error: "Failed to load resource: the server www.4footyfans.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=updatesmigration  responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)"

Is there a table to check?

I suspect you need to reinstall both VM components, that should fix any missing files.  Just use Joomla's extensions manager to install the components on top of what you already have.

Thanks, Kelvin

I did a re-install over the top of existing.

Unfortunately, the issue persists.

I also did a test install of JM/VM using the combo package and that is fine.

Presumably a db corruption?

jenkinhill

I would supect you have some system plugin casing the issue. Any non-default Joomla plugins installed?
