I'm thinking about creating a plugin for VirtueMart that allows easy integration of Amazon S3 for hosting downloadable files and securely delivering them to the user. Before I go through all of that work to package it up, I wanted to get an idea of the interest level for this. Anyone interested?

Sure, but does it integrate into VirtueMart in any way to allow you to sell digital files and deliver them securely to customers?
No one seems interested in me doing this anyways, so I'll just post the code somewhere so people can hack it together.

kikeboe, I never received any response so I figured spending the hours packaging the code into a plugin would probably be a waste of time. I have a number of great additions to VM that I've written over the past months, so I plan to create a website dedicated to the "how-to's" and source code for my solutions. Feel free to ask me any questions about how the S3 stuff works.
