Hi I have this same problem since updating to the latest version of Virtuemart 2.6 (Joomla latest version)

What is in place
1) The product is active in the admin
2) It is set to the default shopper group
3) I cloned another product which is still active and changed the main size and SKU
4) I added it to a new category along with the other categories it was also in
5) I go to the front end it is in the category page, product: 6mm x 5mm x 9.6 Metres High Performance GCA Butyl Sealant Tape, page: http://www.psasolutions.uk.com/adhesive-tapes-and-glues/butyl-flashing-tapes
6) By going to this page from that link, it loads the none standard 404 error page which does not show up in the redirect manager: http://www.psasolutions.uk.com/adhesive-tapes-and-glues/butyl-flashing-tapes/6mm-5mm-x-9.6-metres-high-performance-gca-butyl-sealant-tape-detail
7)  I cloned the origninal product again, and saved it slightly differently no luck
8) I purged the cache no luck
9) I have cloned 2 other products from the main one and they both worked fine
10) I have changed the Alias and that 2 has not resolved it
11) I have checked the product_GB table in phpmyadmin and all the data looks fine

But, what ever I do I can not get this product to show. Any help would be great. :)

@Karen
In the product area there is an option called Shopper groups. This product may have a different group added to it and you need to be a part of that group to be able to see it.

Make sure this is set to the default version. :)

Hi, i have the same problem. Since updating to VM 2.6 creating new products results in error 404 in product details. Shopper group is set to default, disabling VM SEO solves 404 error.

How did you fix this? Any ideas
