so, the search will find something, but when you click on the link it ends up loading the home page because it can't find that link.

any idea?

Your search is Joomla core search not virtuemart search. Does it work for Joomla articles ?

Looks like its because the found items are within a particle (addon)

it Seems to work for everything else.
