It is the last official version. 4.0.7 xxxx is beta. So his question is valid, when will be the next official (4.0.8) release?
It seems they are releasing quite a few Release candidates lately and that they are ironing out the last few bugs. So I can imagine it will happen anytime soon, as long as there is not a big Joomla update that messes things up or an unforeseen bug.
