This may seem like a stupid question. If i set the UPS module up, can i make it so it so it never actually prints or process' the label? I am using it for drop shipping and they use UPS so i want to give the customer the exact shipping quote.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. The basic shipping module does not have shipping label support. Can you explain what you mean, in more detail?
