HHello,
On VM 2.6.10 / Joomla! 2.5.27 (a migration is planned but before I need ti fix this issue), I got a strange image and link on the bottom of product image section (back end of VM).
It links to a web site : http://www.removethebackground.fr/virtuemart.aspx with a commercial alt text.
I wonder if it is an attack or not, and if so how to remove it.
Thank you in advance.
Pixelz have paid advertising there so help to support the VM project. Their service is actually very good.
You can edit and override administrator/components/com_virtuemart/views/product/tmpl/product_edit_images.php but why bother as you should update.

Ok, Jenkinhill,
First of all, thank you for your answer.
So if I understand well, this advert is "normal" behaviour ? It is not an attack ?
If so, it is not a problem for me, I can let it like that and prepare my migration...
It is there to support VM - and is present in my latest VM3.0.19.6
Ok, thank you very much for your answer.
Would you by chance know a post or a tuto on how to migrate from VM 2.6.10 / Joomla! 2.5.27 to the lastet version of both of them ?

In addition to Jenkinhill's advice, a possible route to go would be something like this:
1. Create a backup of your live site with 'Akeeba backup' core version.
2. Unless you don't have it already, create a local test environment on your PC with xampp (Use a version which includes PHP between 5.4.x and 5.6.30 - perhaps a version that matches the php version on your live server. PHP7.x doesn't work, because Joomla 2.5.x and VM2.x are not compatible with PHP7)
See: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/XAMPP%20Windows/
3. Download Akeeba Kickstart and use it to install your .jpa backup file on your PC.
4. Update VM to version 2.6.22
http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files
5. Update VM from 2.6.22 to 3.0.12 or 3.0.18 (because VM2.x is not compatible with Joomla 3.x)
See: https://docs.virtuemart.net/tutorials/installation-migration-upgrade/198-upgrade-virtuemart-2-to-virtuemart-3.html
6. Update Joomla to Joomla 3.x (See: https://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_2.5_to_3.x_Step_by_Step_Migration)
I'll try that, thank you very much for your answer !
