I want to make a complete fresh installation of my 4 year old site, during time my current site is a bit cluttered.
Starting new from scratch I want to begin with J2.5.19 and VM 2.6.0
How should I go about on getting all of my shop data from my current to my new database? Can I just export and import the relevant tables directly in the database?
Is there a lot of difference in the databaseschema between these both versions?
Hope someone can advise me on this.

You could do it via phpMyAdmin, but I'd do it using CSVI - http://www.csvimproved.com/

DO not copy the tables of 2 different versions. If you want copy the tables, update your old site before to 2.6.0. I think the best way is to use csvi.
