Title: E-mail in the "ask a question" form as required field
Post by: steinarasb on January 23, 2012, 11:26:12 AM
Hi all.

Is there a way to set the e-mail address in the "Ask a question" form as required?

For most of us we wonder why you would want it. Maybe you could explain why.

* You can set or make up your own fields on the registration form and make them a required field but on every product, or service?

Just write a little more - and you might get an answer - better that I can supply.

Why I want it is because default it is set to not required.

That means a user can ask a question, and send it to the shop without filling in the email-field.
Leaving the shop with just a name and no email to send the answer to...
(And the potential customer will get a negative assosiation towards the shop since they do not reply).

Hi I have several sites and 'ask a questiuon'  field on all products is required. I get a little red box appear and say * This field is required, Invalid email address.

I did not chnge anything to get this.  You have a small fault in your - package.

* Sorry if this did not help.
