Search Module to search only from root

Hello,
iIhave a problem with my VM Search module, when I search from everywhere works fine but if I search inside a product page it searches only within the specific product category  that the product is in as a result to display "no results".

Any ideas of what to customize in the modules code?

Have you set Search Filter Category to No?

Yes it was set to no, i managed to fix it, i dig a solution here.
SEF had to be off and the on again and poof fixed .
