I'm getting message: "Warning Assign the component VirtueMart to a menu item" on my website front-end with joomla 3.9.1. and Virtuemart 3.4.3
The multilingual status does not give any errors. Wondering if this warning message is correct and how it can be fixed or if it can be hidden by selecting no debug in the shop tab of Virtuemart configuration, because nodebug does not hide the warning for me.

the warning is there for a purpose .. you must assign the root com_virtuemart to a menu item  ( hidden or otherwise) for correct operation of the extension

Don't see what I did wrong, everything else seems to work fine. I have assigned the catalog layout of the VM component to all my menus including a hidden menu. Maybe I do not know what root com_virtuemart is...

Long shot.

Have You loaded language packs for VM to all your languages ?
Do You have Joomla menus (with VM) for all Your languages ?

Thank you for your questions, Yes I did. I believe the Warnung is false, or is this impossible?

What do u mean "to all my menus"?
I only ever have one VM root category menu per language

I do have the same, one VM category as an item per Menu.
What I just found out is that the warning message disappears when I am disabling Search Engine Friendly URLs.
Hmm does that ring a bell?

GJC Web Design

nope...  I have never seen this message
