Checkout / Create Order via Ajax

Hey Girls & Guys,

I've got a question:
For a certain product I need to bypass the Virtuemart Checkout, because the dataset I need with that order is too complex to do within the store, but I want to have the order in Virtuemart after purchase.
So before creating a complete standalone solution I wanted to ask if anyone of you has experience in placing an order via Ajax and then using Ajax to send out the mails and for administration purposes.

Anyone got a clue? Google Search didnt really help me.
