Normally you see the card information in 'Orders & Shoppers' - 'Orders'. Then click on the "order number" at the left. The card information is in the lower part of the order details - but only as long as the order status is "Pending". If you set the order status to "Confirmed", you automatically delete the card details in the database.

I understand how the system works. I am only receiving partial payment details in the admin pannel and have no way to access the last four digits of the credit card. As for as i understand this should be emailed. I am not receving anything appart from the standard virtuemart details for the order.

We obviously need the final four numbers to complete the transaction.

The final four numbers are in the email sent to the vendor. You may try one of the latest development versions (2.0.3e or 2.0.3g) from here: http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files.
If it still doesn't work, then something with your email setup apparently is wrong.

Like i said previously... i am recieving vendor emails from VM but without any payment information. If i cnahe the payment type to cheque i recieve appropriate information to state this. However, using this plugin i have no payment information recorded. There is nothing wromg with the email system. Its the plugin that is at fault in this case.

Then download and install one of the developer versions I mentioned above. I just looked up the developer's repository and there has been a bugfix after the release of version 2.0.2, which addressed an email problem. (Click on 'Install tables or if necessary update them' in the Tools & Migration view afterwards)

Thankyou for your help... That has fixed the problem at last. I didn't update before as i wanted the most recent stable release for the site.
