Title: What is virtuemart-aio
Post by: cammot on February 03, 2012, 12:41:35 PM
I am new to VirtueMart 2.0.  It's looks like an excellent commercial component.  After I installed it to my Joomla 1.7 site - I see that I have two selections on the joomla component menu, i.e. (1) VirtueMart and (2) virtuemart-aio.  What is the difference ?' and when would I use either one ?.

Secondly, with the release of the stable Joomla 2.5. I now read that there are are unresolved issues or compatibility questions regarding VM 2.0 and J2.5   -  how soon can we expect a fix ?, and from which is the fix due, i.e. VM or J2.5.

Thanks
cammot

Expect a fix next week, or try the beta 2.0.1x. The AIO is just installing all modules and plugins for you. It is also later meant for an automatical update and an overview of your extensions, but later.

Hi Milbo -
You mentioned automatic updates in AIO.  I'm planning on doing some custom work for functionality.  Will this override it?
Thanks
