Add to Cart problems

Having 2 major problems with VM2 getting products to go to the cart.

1. "Add to Cart" button dysfunctional even though inspection of source code does not reveal an external jquery load.

2. Disabling the Virtuemart jquery option in the VM "Template" tab backend allows the "Add to Cart" button to work, BUT now NO PRODUCT is loaded into the cart.

Have tried different templates (currently just standard joomla template) different menu/module options, disabled the downloadable items plugin. Have followed advice in the VM2 wiki, as below:

Still no go.



Any advice, ideas, possibilities welcome!

Virtuemart version 2.0.4
Joomla version 2.5.4

If I can get this to work again (was all working on previous version of Joomla and VM) then I can get on and rebuild the site...

I looked but as you have jQuery turned off the cart does not work. Beez_20 is not a good template to test with as some of its css properties seem to interfere with VM display.

What PHP version is on the server?
