Hi.
I need a very very basic shop, where people "purchases" items and just get an email notification. I don't need basically any user information, JUST the email. So I disabled Joomla registration, and this disabled username/email/password fields. But with this configuration when the user completes a purchase I get a warning the order confirmation could not be sent because the email address is missing. I tried adding a secondary email field but of course VM uses user's main field, and the result is the same.

How can I keep registration disabled but still be able to sent to purchaser a notification?

I'm using VM3.2.1/J3.7.

thanks

- unpublish the Joomla login module
- disable 'On checkout, ask for registration' and 'Only registered users can checkout' in VM 'Configuration' > 'Checkout' tab.
If that doesn't work, you might have to check if the required fields for your vendor email is set in VM 'Shop' > 'Shopper Information' tab.

Other possible email fields for order emails are planned, but not for the next 3.2.2 release. Maybe it will be implemented on 3.2.3/3.2.4.

I disabled ask for registration, but it won't show anything. maybe because I'm using a custom theme (horme_3)?

Disable your overrides and you will see it  ;)
