That's due to a small organisational problem. Currently Transifex is still connected to a SVN branch (that's where the latest code is stored), which is not up to date with the latest VirtueMart release. Will be solved soon (I hope). I recently manually created a newer spanish language file pack from Transifex and uploded it the here:

Oh oks, just updated the spanish with the newest addons btw.

I just found this http://virtuemart.net/community/translations?view=project&id=1

As you can see the language packs as mentioned are quite old. Hope this gets fixed soon, is quite important for multilingual websites to keep language packages updated, many people working on them and a lot has changed since those February packs.

We just updated the source files on on Transifex (which you seem to have noticed already) - the rest will follow as soon as possible  ;)
