When creating pdf files Cyrillic letters are displayed as question marks, f.e. a part of the vminvoice_13040213204.pdf:

978-5-94455-831-2 ????????? ???????? - ????????? ????! ??????? Pending 55,00 ??? 1
То solve this probem a font 'helvetica' should be replaced to 'freesans' in a number of files (components/com_virtuemart/controllers/invoice.php, components/com_virtuemart/helpers/vmpdf.php). Better way is to make the font choices in the shop configuration.

This is actually in the pipe for one of the next releases (hopefully). bytelord wrote such a patch, while I improved the invoice configuration even further...
