Hi,

I use Joomla 3.4.1. and VM 3.0.8. in Firefox 37 browser. But the same error occurs also in IE 11.

Every link on the checkout page ends in a 'Connection has timed out' error.
Every link on the website and in the shop is working perfectly fine, but some how the checkout page is a dead end right now.

Could someone help me out please.

Thanks in advance,
Arjan

OK lets put it another way. In VM config/shop what is your setiing for Enable SSL for sensitive areas (recommended)?  And is SSL operational on the server.

You say PHP Version;    5.3.10-1ubuntu3.18    -  that is the absolute minimum requirement. Recommended is PHP 5.4+

Enable SSL for sensitive areas (recommended)
This setting is enabled.

I see is my Plesk Panel that 'SSL-support' is 'No'  :-\

Is this a problem?

You have enabled SSL in your configuration yet the server does not support SSL. Surely that provides a clue to your problem?
