I'm using joomla 2.5.7, virtue mart 2.0.2, some usual component/extension like k2, JCE, Jcomment and Social Login and social share
Few days ago, I got a blank page when I clicked the Products in the back end. I've tried to uninstall virtue mart and install some different version of VM, but I still get this problem, whichever version I set up:(((
And the front end isn't displayed. I thought it was a module' error. Maybe the issue is the installation simultaneous of VM and simple cady ( 2 shopping carts at the same time). I've uninstall the simple cady but the problem was not solved. Or maybe the issue is from social login?
Please help me with this, what can I do to solve this?

Do u need the username and password of the administrator account in back end to solve it?

First you should make a decision which shopping cart will fit your requirements. Thereafter you might consider to delete everything and start from scratch again with Joomla 2.5.11 and (eventually) VirtueMart 2.0.20b. This is probably much faster than trying to get your website working properly again.

Alternatively you may use this tutorial as a guide to clean up your mess a little bit, before you make another attempt to install VirtueMart:

hi, thanks u for your reply.
the good new is: I've tried to uninstall with the guide and my site've displayed again:)).
The bad new: The installation guide tell that I just need to drop the file concern virtue mart in jos_session and jos_assess, but when I install a new version, the problem's still here, and the categories are like before I uninstall, because others table of VM don't change. So do I have to drop every table concern the virtue mart in the database on phpmyadmin?

jjk

First you should backup (export) your database. Then you can go to VM Configuration and activate 'Enable database Update tools' and try the tools available there. If you entered your own products already, I would recommend to export the individual VM product, category and manufacturer tables with phpMyAdmin (all tables holding data you have entered already) in order to import them again when your VM installation is working again.

At present your site looks like you don't have the com_virtuemart.2.0.20b_ext_aio.zip installed. You always need to install both files contained in the download package of VM.

If none of the above helps, you may have to delete every VM entry in the database table, and in the various folders (like described in the tutorial linked in my previous reply) if you want to have a clean installation again.

Thanks a lot jjk, I've installed the 20b version. It seems good, I can add new products now:)
