Hi,

Looks pretty good. Has a nice feel.
I would change the font you use for headings in the main menu items. It's a good idea to only use the logofont for the logo, makes the logo stand out more as something unique.

Also you got some problems with images overlapping text on this page (and others): http://phoog.co.uk/buy-art/Pop-Art/View-all-products.html.
I had the same problem at one point, maybe you already know a solution, but I think I solved it by adding:
<style type="text/css">
#div {
   width:<?php echo $content_width;?>;
      }
</style>
in the browse page that I was using.

So a really good first attempt, I think!

Seemed a bit slow on my system.  (Cable modem)

Otherwise it looks clean and easy to navigate.

Hi -- I just wanted you to know that I found your site very inspirational.    I really groove on your business philosophy.

I am just setting up my own website for my fine and decorative arts site.  I have a similar art business philosophy as you do, but I try to apply it to 20th century fine and decorative arts.   There are lots of wonderful regionalist artist who never really made it in the big league, but their work is great.   It needs appreciation and my clientele needs less expensive art.

I am finding it a little difficult, as most of my products are one-of-a-kind items - and the the VirtueMart is more mainstream product oriented.

I found your website to be very fresh and cool.

Good luck and Best regards,
Scott
