error: "Access restricted to Vendors and Administrator only"

Hi all,

On the site I manage, I as superuser can access the VM admin backend without problem. However, my users who have administrator level access cannot access VM as the following error message is displayed:

"Access restricted to Vendors and Administrator only"

I see that this has come up before on this forum but I don't see the answer anywhere.

Running VM v2.0.8e under Joomla 2.5.6
