account activation link doesn't work

I have a problem with VM 2.02 + J!2.5. new registered user receives email with activation link, but when he goes by the link, account is still disabled, no confirmation etc. link goes to homepage (www.shop.com/INDEX.PHP)...
Please help :(

The same problem here on the same version.

Do you have a multilanguage shop or single?

I've same problem.
activation link works only when you open that link in another browser.
the guest user doesn't allow any activation.
if you find solution please let us know.
