Page Title vs URL

Hi Guys,

Does the VM2 SEF set the page titles or is this handled by the Joomla Core SEF?  Currently in the store I'm working with, Page Titles display as I desire, showing "Category: Product Name".  URLS however display in the form "/Category-4f47edf1bcdfd/72297m-4f47edffbc17c-detail.html/".  I was not the one that setup the store initially, so I was wondering if the Alias is only set when adding the products to the store or if VM2 generates these values at some point. 

I'm more familiar with using sh404sef and usually have the urls display as "/category/product-name".  Any suggestions on how to achieve this goal using VM2s SEF or do I need to individually change the aliases for all thousand products?

Page titles are customizable in the category edit, and product edit.

AS far as the urls. For BEST url, create joomla menu structure to all categories

NO 3rd party sef component is needed.

categoryname/product-name-SUFFIX

The suffux can be changed in the vmart admin. It has to be a the end of the product url

Hello, by creating a joomla menu structure you mean, if i have category1/category2/category3/product to create all that structure for every product in Joomla menus?

no - just make sure you've got a proper category menu struction .. e.g. not just the top-level and expect clients/Google to drill down
