UPS said 100 dollars shipping customer scale said 300

I have a customer who had a big order and VM UPS said it will cost 100 dollars to ship it, but when the customer when to weight everything on their scale it said UPS will cost 300 dollars. This is the first time we had an issue with the UPS mod.

Is there anyway to fix this? The item was going to be shipped fright because of its weight.
