I am using VM 2.0.0 on joomla 2.5.1 I set up my categories, manufactures and products devided into categories/manufactures.

When I set a menu item with VirtueMart Categories Layout or VirtueMart Category Layout I can see the categories but clicking on a category does not show my products.

The same applies to the vm category module.

This worked fine in joomla 1.7

Please advise

Halo,
I have the similar issue, but mine is using joomla 1.7.3 + VM 2.0.0
I have searched all day about similar issue, and mostly said its the language problem. I only use one language (default en_GB) both for joomla & VM.

in each product, and category you have to fill in BOTH languages for them.

So, say you create all the products in english. THEN, you change to multilanguage, and your default language is french. THEY will not show, UNTIL, you will in the french descriptions etc.

Thanks for your reply. It does a language problem (I think)
I re-installed my joomla few hours ago and make sure I choose the English (UK) when installing, then install VM (but this time I didn't activate the Multilingual option/ leave it blank) and tadaa! all works!

Not sure if I select English GB in Multilingual option it will still work tho, but as I said before, I only use one language so Im not sure is it necessary to use Multilangual in my shop (?)

thanks again!
