custom attributes

Hello I'm doing a webcart for my class and were virtually selling fruit boxes.
I want a addon attributes so a person can add another apple or a pound of what ever to their box.
The thing is when i added the custom list and put in the childs for the attributes it says:

I have the same problem.
Joomla 2.5.1
Virtuemart 2.0.1.h

VirtueMart 2 is not fully compatible with Joomla 2.5.x (at the moment).

I am aware of that but when you are starting a webshop you don't want to start building it in Joomla 1.5 and rebuild the entire website once VM becomes compatible with Joomla 2.5.

I installed the 2.0.2 version on a local server an work fine... does it have problem with linux servers??

I'm using in local mode.
