Can I display products int he same way as categories ?

(1/1)

Hi,

Please excuse me if I've missed this posted anywhere, but I've looked in the FAQ and hte manual and couldn;t find what I'm after.

I currently have my shop setup with several categories and sub-categories, and in each sub-category I have around a dozen products listed, which are all the same apart from size. After looking around I want to change this to a product with a size attribute and a drop down menu, which looks much better and is easier to navigate. However, I want to display the new products in the same way as the old sub-categories are dispalyed (plain image with just plain text under it, as opposed to a box, with the image and text in it that is about 50% bigger). If it's easier to look at what I mean, my website is www.topnotchwoods.com and go to Worktops ==> Oak Worktops

Can this be done ?

Many Thanks

Duncan

Hi Duncan,

I think I am having the same problem that you posted but it looks like you found the solution. Your site looks very neat.

If you have some time can you explain what you did to fix it as this is also my problem.

Just started using VirtueMart and so far so good. However, I have now hit a snag. When I look at a Category Page it looks nice and I am happy with the layout as per this example http://www.millionaireasia-indonesia.com/index.php/travel-concierge1/jakarta

The problem is that when I then click on a category like Jakarta Hotels it looks like this http://www.millionaireasia-indonesia.com/index.php/travel-concierge1/jakarta/jakarta-hotels which is terrible. How do i get this category page to look like the previous page which is all neat and tidy. I have played with all the settings but nothing seems to help. The forum seems to have quite a few posts on this put I don't see any clear answers.

Many Thanks Jim

the original post was made way back in February, and duncanwellington only ever made the one post, which means he never returned...

This is also a VM1 question?

Now you're just hijacking this topic with the same question you posted on several other topics...  ???
