Red Ruby - VirtueMart 2.0 Template for Jewelry Stores

Red Ruby, our new Joomla 2.5 and VirtueMart 2.0 template that was designed specifically for jewelry stores, has been released today. Although the header was designed primarily for jewelry template, this template actually is very general and can be used by any kind of stores or lines of business.

The header size is collapsible. When "header" position is enabled (by whatever module including the default Slide Show), the header size will be expand. When "header" position is disabled (or enabled under selected pages such as homepage), the header size will be collapse.

Product badges: NEW, SALE, SOLD-OUT, SPECIAL. This badges will automatically show up whenever your product is new, on-sale, out-of-stock, featured. These badges will display on all product listing pages (browse pages), horizontal and vertical carousels and virtuemart product modules. Additionally, you can set the total amount of days for how long the NEW badge will be shown since they date it is created. If you set 30 days, then the NEW badge will be displayed for 30 days since the date it is created.

Is there a option that can add a custom field for the customers to add a text for engraving into the product?

First of all, for all questions related to our template, we strongly suggest to use our contact form at http://www.vjtemplates.com/contact-us. Not because we do not want to answer your question(s), but it's just more ethical to use our own form instead of using VM forum. Thank you in advance.

Second, your questions sounds more like a VM feature instead of a template feature. As far as we know VM 2 does support custom field creations. Whether it's possible to add a custom field on frontend, we are not sure (most likely not). We suggest to ask this under General Questions section of this forum.

As for our template, all custom fields will be displayed in Product Detail Page under Product Description tab.
