Milbo: sorry, i was blind because with this (new) situation in VM2 without the "switch automatically", like we have in the old VM1.x.... it makes the upload process very strange to see in a external way what i didnt do it or clicked... many times adding products "one by one" at hand.. in old VM (+-8000)... sorry again...
VM V. online: J2.5.14 | VM 2.0.20a | SQL 5.1.70 | PHP 5.3.25

Milbo

You should use the FTP and the media synchroniser, so adding images is very fast. After that, enter in the search a space and you can access your images very fast and attach them to your product.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member

Hmm I do not understand the problem, locally I already upload wallpapers. Maybe you have spaces in the image names?
No spaces in the names

Well I have some new info.
I have been attempting to upgrade my old site from j1.5 and VM1, to j1.7 and VM2.0.1b.  All on my local server.

Image upload Works:
New install of j1.7 and VM2, with no migration, for testing purposes.

does not work:
Upgrade to j1.7 and migrate to VM2

works:
migrate to VM2, but staying with j1.5

I now also updated to j1.7 with jUpgrade and the large images work.
However, it made me migrate VM again after the update.
(I tried updating to j1.7 FIRST many times but I get the image problem.)

So for updating from j1.5 to j1.7 AND to VM2,  it works in this order:
Migrate to VM2 >  update to j1.7 >  Migrate VM again

Hahaha I'm also a stupid man...  :o

I am new virtuemart user and I spent 30 minutes with the same problem.

Thanks Prolipes for your answer.
Quote1 - We have to select / click in "UPLOAD"... to image upload... (this is so stupid)... of course we want to upload if we are in this place!!!!  Time wasting because this dont automatically switches :|

Regards.
