Advise  a good menu for VirtueMart 2.0 for Joomla 1.7.3

That is good, but paid http://master.demo.offlajn.com/demo.html#vm_accordion a budget does not allow

Maybe there is someone link where you can download something like that?

Thanks :)

Apart from the supplied VirtueMart modules installed with the aio package, you can use almost any Joomla menu module. See http://extensions.joomla.org/search?q=menu

I'm a fan of mega menus, and this one is only €20

You can do the most things with the VM Category Module.

I did a horizontal drop down menu for example. You just need to know a little bit CSS.

If you want to have some features that used in the module you've posted see here:

I am making my megamenu with multiple joomla modules, and pure css.
Like i explain here

icemega menu is good
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/16468

^^ the only thing I dont like about icemegamenu is the script is 50k, but it will actually work without the js turned on.
I use icemega menu here   http://www.tamparestaurantreviews.com/

Perhaps "Maximenu CK" and it's Virtuemart patch is still working with VM2.0

...never tried it myself.

I looked at maximenu

and I also paid for, and tried
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/18101

But, I dont like they are mootools menus , when vmart uses jquery. I like to combine, and get rid of as many scripts as possible for speed. When you are forced to use Jquery and mootools, that can be hard to do.

This menu here
http://codecanyon.net/item/css3-mega-menu-joomla-module/336135
Is what joomla.org uses. Its the same css that I am using on my site.

They have a module version, but does not work on 1.7 (only 1.6)

I'm using the free MaxiMenu CK
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/11578?qh=YToxOntpOjA7czo4OiJtYXhpbWVudSI7fQ%3D%3D

To implement the VM in this menu i'll have to insert every links of the VM Products Categories "one by one"...
VM V. online: J2.5.14 | VM 2.0.20a | SQL 5.1.70 | PHP 5.3.25

I created a modified category module . that creates a dropdown horizontal menu (ONLY 2 levels, like the original category module)
It also has a field for you to put the "HOME" link in the front.

It has like 4 or 5 colors available, and can be customized with a little css.

I have attached it.

ATTENTION:::: I dont know if this was the last version of the module or not that I made, so test it on a non-live site.
I also dont remember if it works on J1.5 or not either. (i made it over a month ago, and dont use it)
