Has anyone found any Joomla 1.7 / VM 2.0 templates yet? I have not been able to find any good looking or any at all VM 2.0 templates.

Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Jon

Check out our newest VirtueMart Theme - PBV MULTI

I found these few:

Its funny that the VM team says "no more themes for VM2" "We are gonna use the "views" page method instead!"

Like any of us want to sit here and build the css for each an every page on our carts.
so guess what!?....We just go to a theme company and buy a theme!...oh wait buy a "view" the themes are called views now, but they arent themes at all
even though they skin your install and make it look totally different and have the ability to add or remove features....but they arent themes..they are views.

but whatever...give these a try until the VM team makes up their minds about what to call it when a third party makes a skin for your cart.

Shape5 makes one too its kinda nice:

They make this one too, not a true VM2 theme but it has built in template styling that looks pretty good.

Views - the V in MVC - were introduced for the (then) new Joomla 1.5, but still an overall look was called a theme, as used for example in Wordpress, where the whole template structure is called a theme.  The word is used more often in a Joomla template where you may have a "green theme" or a "blue theme" depending on highlight colours used.

For an introduction to views see http://docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides#Introduction

Using views with overrides means that output layout and styling is relatively easy to accomplish and most importantly, is not overwritten by component core updates. So, if you don't make your own,  the 3rd party template you buy with built in styling for VirtueMart will not break when VM is updated.

I have found http://www.virtuemarttemplates.net/ that says all their VirtueMart templates are compatible with VIRTUEMART 2.0.X + JOOMLA 2.5 OR 1.5.

Answer is probably from my VirtueMart 2 User Manual ebook, includes FREE updates. FREE Admin Menu Cheatsheet, Quick Install Guide & 30-Minute Quick Setup Guide http://showmeguides.com/

yeah thats kinda of how skins work guys, skins are just skins..themes, layouts...whatever. They should never break on a basic update.

why would anyone design one otherwise?

Powered by Virtuemart just release PBV-IMPACT http://www.poweredbyvirtuemart.com/Joomla-Templates/B80-PBV-IMPACT-VIRTUEMART-2.0-TEMPLATE.html, which is a Virtuemart 2.0 template/ theme.

How fast do orders get processed at this site?
How good is the support at this site?

Please advise - I am looking for economical themes for a small -not-for-profit website.

Thanks!
