Help! Problems with template VM2 and Joomla 1.5

Hi,

A Joomla and VM noob, sorry :

After installing Virtuemart 2 on Joomla 1.5, I got problems with the layout. As the webshop is only an addition to the site, I would like to display the webshop only when selected in the menu.
I also selected the "Only use as catalogue" option.

But alas, I get all kinds of items in the side menu that I cannot get rid of. I see the following items in my left menu:
- VM - Shopping cart
- VM - Best Sales
- VM - Search in Shop
- VM - Featured products
- VM - Currencies Selector
- VM - Manufacturer
- VM - Category

I don't see an option as to get rid of these things. Where can I control what is visable and not?

They are Joomla modules. Just go to the module manager and disable them.
