category names on top of category images

Hi,

Is it possible to position the category names on top of the category images?
I figured out most of this is in the categoryChildlist.tpl.php.
Wonder if the image and category name can be seperated (in the <a>) to individual create a class.
After this the category name should be positioned with css.

Suggestions/tips are welcome.
