VM-Orders & Shoppers | Shoppers (or is it Users?)
« on: December 15, 2011, 21:46:41 pm »
JM1.7.3  VM RC3_ver_m

Whilst trying to understand certain issues with the display of "Shoppers" within VM-"Orders & Shoppers" I note that the initial "Shopper" that is listed is "admin" with displayed name "Super User" and in Group "admin/ (deprecated)".
- Why is the site "admin" USER listed in "Shoppers"?   Or should the page be entitled "Users" rather than "Shoppers"?
- What is the significance of "deprecated"?
- In the case of  actual "Shoppers" the "Permissions" can be set to a variety of aspects, only one of which is "Shopper".  The inclusion of "Admin", "StoreAdmin" and "Demo" seem outside if the scope of a "Shoppers" listing.

Basically is this listing limited to "Shoppers" or is it the broader set of "Users"?

It is a list of all joomla users with their shopper attributes.
deprecated does not hurt, it works in j1.5
The whole permission thing is not really working. It just works with admin. We want to integrate the j1.7 method then. So far it works for most cases.
I should fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
