mega menu conflict on category layout page

I use a template that has a mega menu.

on most of the vm pages there is no problem.

however on the menu item "VirtueMart » VirtueMart Categories Layout" my mega menu will not work.

my suspicion is that it may have something to do with haschild/children classes, but I don't know really, just a shot in the dark there.

anyway, good work so far folks, thanks for the great component!


p.s.  I am using 2.0.0 rc3.  the site is a test site so I cannot just post the link but if anyone would like a peek at what I mean just pm me for it.
