[SOLVED] VM RC3 M & J1.7.3 Show Manufacturer switch on/off not working

It appears that the show manufacturer feature is always on and is not possible to turn it off under Configuration/Templates.
Confirmed on  VM 2 RC3 M & J1.7.3

Has anybody experienced the same problem?
It appear that the information is not saved in the table virtuemart_configs.

edit the same bug applies to Show Children Category. Both Show Manufacturers &  Show Children Category are not saved in the table virtuemart_configs / column config

The thing with the categories is working for me, but not removing of the manufacturers, we take a look on it.
