When I clone a product that has custom fields of type image, the custom fields are not cloned into the new product.  I have to reenter all the custom fields of type images in the new product.

Hi Banquet,

I tested with my two must common custom fields...  Cart Variant and Image types, and neither of these custom fields were cloned.   This is a major problem for me since I have so many products with so many custom fields that I really need the custom fields to be cloned along with the product.

Thanks,
Chuck

Is there allready a solution for this problem?
I have to add more than 300 products, each of them with more than 20 options - I'm screwed if this doesn't work :/

the update to v. 2.01 gives me following error by cloning a product with custom fields:

Fatal error: Call to a member function toFormat() on a non-object in ...\administrator\components\com_virtuemart\helpers\vmtable.php on line 452

That was a typo, will come back, the "cart variant". Thanks for the hint with the slug
