Differences in front-end between back up an original
« on: November 15, 2011, 02:41:45 am »
Hello everybody

I have made a back up of a full Joomla site and created a mini development environment.
I backed up all files and folder and data base from host.

It is also using virtuemart to organize the e-shop.
When I unzipped everything and built it up again into a localhost I found some details that needed manual configuration.

The problem now is that there are some differences when visualizing a product detail.
I don't know if it is a Joomla template or a VirtueMart template.

The URL is the same in both environment. (on line and local)

Has anybody come across with this before?

Joomla Version 1.5.14
VirtueMart 1.1.4

I appreciate all help.

Thank you.

=== Resolved ===

I've added an extra folder to the root path so I had to modify some path manually and It worked.

.../www/mysite/components/images/xxx.jpg --> .../extrafolder/www/mysite/components/images/xxx.jpg

Greetings.

1gna753, you should use akeebah backup. It minimizes problems with stuff like this
J3.9+ VM 3.4.2
Slowest Page Speed Score (88) (Category)
Fastest Page Speed Score (94-96) (productdetails)
