No order email sent

Greetings,

I searched but haven't found a solution to this problem so I hope someone can help.

Joomla Version 1.7.2
VM 1.9.8k

VM was running fine until I upgraded. Now after an order the payment goes through but that's it. No conformation emails are sent. Please help and let me know the solution.

...you are using a pretty old version ( K ). Try to update to the last one M.
Do a backup first.

Well - virtuemart is not really compatible with Joomla 1.7 yet... so you are likely to receive errors right now.
