Details view link not working - SEF URL issue

Hi,

Not sure what created the prob as I've been working for couple of hours in the admin section without any problem and I had my link working fine with SEF URLs. I have not changed anything regarding the template.

But now, when I click on my modified product detail view link on the front end, I just don't get the detail view page. It's jsut refreshing the front page. I have this prob only for my product. The sample products are still working fine.

To give you a hint I mainly worked on adding new custom fields and worked with the images of the product. Now I removed all custom fields to see it was causing the prob but the error still persists. Maybe I did something wrong.

If I deactivate Joomla SEF engine, it's working back again but with non-SEF url of course.

Elnino, the 1st letter has to be capital

I tried changing mine to lower case before, and it would never save

Hmm I thought we use another method now with adding the suffix -detail

Are you talking about the first letter of the product name or alias ? Because I changed both and it does change anything.

Milbo sorry I didn't get your -detail suffix comment. Do I have to change something on my config to make it work ? If you're talking about the URL I definitely have a -detail suffix at the end:

http://bolstibetainschantants.fr/bols-chantants/bol-chantant-detail

but as you see it does not lead to the detail view page.

Elnino, the problem is with the category

THAT category does not have a page title, etc.

WHAT layout options do you have for the category?

AND, are there any other aliases with that same name? That can cause problems
