alternative to Virtueupload pro

Hi

Ive been trying to get Virtueload pro to work with virtuemart for days now, with no luck. I have been advised by many that virtueupload pro is very problematic and that Im best avoiding it.

Does anyone know of an alternative extension which will allow me to upload a photo and text, linked to a product order?

all help appreciated.
