In Product (Edit) - Product Information tab - Pricing Rules Overrides, the fields 'Tax' and 'Discount Type' store only one rule upon clicking 'Save' if two or more rules are selected. Working as designed or a bug?

The bug is that you can multiple select rules. it works atm only for one rule.

Any plans to make either this or the Calculation rules (or both) a little bit more flexible in the near future?
The reason I'm asking is because the current possibilities are too limited when I want to use calculation rules for calculating 'final sales prices' based on a 'cost price'.

Example for two different products.
Required calculation rules for:

Product 1: Convert product cost 100 GBP to Euro, add 'before tax' multiplicator (profit margin), add 20 GBP delivery cost (converted to Euro, but without profit margin), add 19% sales tax.

Product 2: Product cost 50 Euro (no currency conversion), add 'before tax' multiplicator (profit margin), add 10 Euro delivery cost (without profit margin), add 7% sales tax.

In this case I can't set the 'Pricing Rules Overrides' - 'Discount Type' (we should find a better term) to "Apply generic rules", because it would add the "Profit Margin" + "Delivery Cost 20 GBP" + "Delivery Cost 10 Euro". Obviously I need only one of the delivery costs. Overriding doesn't work either, because I can select only one calculation rule, when I need two ("profit margin" + i.e. "Delivery Cost 10 Euro")
;)

I'm working with a standard J1.7 and VM2 from the SVN trunk (this is where the developers store their latest changes). See here:

Dear Support!

I have the same problem....I need 2 discount type rules at the same time but i can't save them only 1! (VM1.98M version with joomla 1.7.1)

1, 25% discount from all the base price (webshop discount)
2, 5% discount if the summary of base products price is above 10000! (i put Amount Condition :10000 in calculations rules ,but not sure if its good or not)

Is it possible to handle this problem somehow?

test site here (http://pilis.feketegyuri.hu/index.php/koenyveink)

Thanks!
Manch

You should consider to write generic rules for htis. for exampel one rule for a category and one rule for the shoppergroup. You may better describe your problem, then I can help better

Ok, so our shop has books with different discounts and coupons.

1, 25% discount for every book bought on internet (exept for 4 book packages / with 4-5 books / wich has special permanent % discounts (51% and 54%))
2, 5% discount (not coupon) if you buy above the price: 10.000 Ft (but its not for the special packages( 4-5 books/package )
3, special packages with 4-5 book with one for 51% and another for 54% discount.
4, +10% Coupon discount for every books exept the special packages category.

And last ,its a future wish :
(5, if you buy 2 books you get x% discount , if you buy 3 books you get y% discount on the products you choose and so on...)

My question is : Can i do this with vm2 or with vm1.19?

Thanks
