they have to have a value in the database

Hi BanquetTables.pro,

I read the post above, but I think this is for resizing thumbs.

I want to reduce the resource usage of my site, because my host is complaining. So I read here that i should disable dynamic thumb creation. My thumbs are 90x90 and are located in the resized folder.

In VM configuration I have already set thumb width and height to 90 and I don't want to change their dimensions.

I disabled dynamic thumbnail and my site seems to work fine. My joomla cache is off.

Should I do something else (deleting resized folder as described on the post above)?

Do you recommend to enable Joomla cache to reduce the resource usage? I read in another post that when using Virtuemart, Joomla cache should be off.

Thanks a lot.

PS: I have also asked a similar question to another thread. Sorry to do so, but my host is threatening me that they will take my site offline!
