Custom Fields Product Attributes using SQL
« on: February 04, 2012, 15:59:22 pm »
I would like to have an option of size on each of my products.

I would like there to be sizes Small, Medium, Large.

I would like to then be able to apply the same option size with these 3 sizes to multiple products.

Apparently the only way to speed this up at the moment is to do it using SQL.

Can anyone who has the ability to do this please give a short step by step guide on how it is done.

Nick

I don't think that child products is the optimal way to do this.
Its much easier to use custom fields

If you want to assign custom values to multiple products, i think the best way is to use an extension like CSVI for massive insertion of data
