Hi guys,

This is no criticism since I do understand that everyone is doing their best to keep up but I just received an email from the joomla group stating that joomla 1.7 Alpha has been released: http://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5372-joomla-17-alpha-released.html

This got me thinking/worried: if VM2 is not yet available 6 months after release of the GA Joomla1.6 package and they are already announcing to drop joomla 1.6 support (10 August - Joomla 1.6 reaches end of life and is no longer supported)...... what will this mean for (near) future releases of VM? Won't it fall far behind? Or is there some order to this "chaos" that I am unaware off?

I cannot imagine that the joomla guys would like to make the VM guys "run away"/leave them. Soooo.... any thoughts on that from some of the devs here?

Ah... never mind ;-)

There is the answer I was looking for. Still though... Aren't you guys going crazy with the joomla team hopping around all over the place? I can imagine quite a lot of plugins etc will be EOL in the not-so-far-away-future.
