I want to email buyers of specific virtuemart product

I am using juga as a content restrictor of pages and jnews for newsletter--but i need a few more things and am looking for some help-
* is there a way to connect a virtuemart product with an email system?  I would like to email just those that purchased that product about new things and updates.

My site is selling workshops and there is new content put on those content pages on certain dates.  I need to email those buyers to let them know there is something new.
