RE: Catagories in my main menu x 3

Hi for the life of me i cant figure out how to have 3 main menu buttons with 3 different categories
im probly doing something really dumb but i have tried to make it work for weeks now i just cant get it to do what i need
i have 3 main menu buttons i need to have categories for each from main menu
when i allocate virtue mart to the first one and make the categories with products that works fine
then i made another the same but the same categories keeps showing up on the next button,there is no way to allocate a different categories for this second menu button and then 3rd?
am i doing some wrong here
is there a simple lamens term to explain in detail what ive done wrong or head me in the right direction to get this complete
all i want is 3 main menus with 6 categories in each then separate products for each
web site is here,have a look at motard rims i need the same thing in mxr ims but with mx rims as products then im doing a parts as well
so why am i getting motard categories in mx,there is no way of allocating it to the mx button as far as i can see
its simple but why is it so hard to do
any advice would greatly appreciated
the way i did was create a menu item then allocated virtue mart to that and away i went
but when i tried the same thing on the next button i realized i cant do what i thought i could,as virtue mart only allows one set of categories to be allocated
i tried doing the other way around by making a categorie,section and article but there is no way of allocating a products listing that way
i could only get virtue mart to work but making the main menu button allocation via virtue mart
hope you get my drift,because i cant find any clear message on any of these forums or the web on how to make any sence of it at all, its jargon as im noob at this

problem lies with the menu item not being correct type or wrong category  or product it in parameters. you need to go to your menu and change type to virtuemart and from the parameters menu on side bar need to put correct virtuemart category id or product id in to that place will fix the highlighting issue.
