Using Comma In Attributes
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:06:37 am »
Hi

This is a hack to use comma, ",", in advanced attributes.
Basically "," was being used to seperate attribute options, now I have used asterix, "*" instead.

So now you will not be able to use "*"  in advanced attributes.

I have hacked the following function in ps_product_attribute.php

Code: [Select]
list_advanced_attribute
getAdvancedAttributes
cartGetAttributes
loadAttributeExtension
formatAttributeX

All the modified lines will have the following comment on them

Code: [Select]
//using * instead of , vmlab
Hope this helps people

(i know that's old toppic.. but it's for future useres;) )

but.. if you've got some products in your database, you have to change every record in jos_vm_products in column attribute

Has anyone ever figured out how to use a colon ":" in the attributes?  We need to be able to put time in the attributes, but when we do so, the attribute price will not adjust.
