Flash, SSL and IE issue
« on: January 25, 2011, 17:33:23 pm »

I use Joomla 1.5.22 and Virtuemart 1.1.6. My flash content is displayed by the Mosaic Product Slider 1.1 .
My shop provides only SSL-secured connections. Requests over http are redirected over https.
Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari display the flash animation perfectly.
Only the IE browsers have problems with the combination of SSL and flash.
I solved the problem by changing "libraries/joomla/environment/response.php":

Code: [Select]
JResponse::setHeader( 'Cache-Control', 'no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0', false );
JResponse::setHeader( 'Pragma', 'no-cache' );

Code: [Select]
JResponse::setHeader( 'Cache-Control', 'cache, must-revalidate', false );
JResponse::setHeader( 'Pragma', 'public' );

Now, I would like to know, if this is a security risk. Afaik the browsers now store data (perhaps critical data like creditcard data?!?) in their cache.
